Privacy & cookies

We keep things simple. Grounds and Gadgets doesn't ask you to create an account, doesn't run its own analytics or advertising trackers, and doesn't set its own cookies.

What data is collected when you visit

• Hosting: our site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
• Fonts, icons and styling: our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, icons from cdnjs (Cloudflare) and styling from the Tailwind CSS CDN. Your browser connects to these services, which receive your IP address as part of the request.
• Affiliate links: if you click a link to Amazon UK, Amazon may set cookies on its own site so it can attribute any purchase to us. That's covered by Amazon's privacy notice and cookies notice, not this policy.

Cookies

We don't set any cookies of our own, and we don't use analytics or advertising cookies. If we ever add analytics or other cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access it and ask for it to be deleted. Because we don't collect personal data directly, there's usually nothing for us to hand over. Requests about data held by Netlify, Google, Cloudflare or Amazon should go to those companies.
