GIFT GUIDE • CHRISTMAS 2026

The best coffee gifts under £100

Researched gift guide•By the Grounds and Gadgets team•Updated 6 October 2026

Coffee is one of the easiest things to buy for, as long as you match the gift to how they actually drink it. We've grouped these ideas by budget. All are under £100, and each one is something we'd be happy to unwrap.

How we chose: We haven't tested these products ourselves. We picked well-known products from established brands, checked their specs on the manufacturer or Amazon UK listings, and confirmed they were in stock on Amazon UK. Prices were checked on 6 October 2026 during Prime Big Deal Days. Expect them to move before Christmas, and look out for Black Friday deals in late November.

Gift-giving tips

  • Ask (subtly) what they use now: pods, beans or instant.
  • Add a bag of fresh beans or ground coffee from a local roaster.
  • Check the returns window. Retailers often extend returns for gifts bought in the run-up to Christmas, so check the policy when you order.
  • If the gift is from a third-party seller, check delivery dates.

FAQs

Will these prices still be the same at Christmas?

Probably not. We checked prices on 6 October 2026, during Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, so several were discounted. Prices often rise after the sale and drop again around Black Friday (late November). Always check the live price before you buy.

What's a good coffee gift for someone who already has a machine?

A milk frother (if they make lattes) or a burr grinder (if they use pre-ground coffee) usually goes down well. A bag of beans from a local roaster is a nice extra.

What's the best gift for someone who drinks instant coffee?

An AeroPress or a cafetière is a cheap, low-commitment step up. Neither needs electricity or pods, and both work with supermarket ground coffee.

Can I gift a pod machine without knowing which pods they like?

Yes, but pick the system with care. Dolce Gusto pods are the cheapest to run and Vertuo pods the priciest. Our pod machine guide breaks down the costs.
